Phlebosclerosis in a Young Man

Abstract

|
A case of phlebosclerosis of bilateral superficial veins of both lower extremities, occurring in a 22-year-old Korean male was described.
On the base of clinical and histopathological finding this case was presumed to be the so-called venofibrosis. The etiology of the phlebosclerosis in this case was undetermined. Symptoms of peripheral venous insufficiency and appearance of organizing thombus in the subsequent biopsy specimen were interesting findings in this case.
